Jenny Jenkins
One of our own has obeyed the call………
Jenny Jenkins, a non-resident member of our church, is now serving as a nurse in Haiti through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. While at Blackwell, Jenny was active in the choir and as a Youth Leader. During her time in Elizabeth City, she decided to go back to school and become a nurse. Jenny was a beneficiary of one of our Blackwell Scholarships.
After Jenny left Elizabeth City, she still remained friends with the Blackwell family and in August 2010 she returned to tell us of her new mission in life, as a missionary/nurse to Haiti. We invite you to follow Jenny’s progress in Haiti and we pray that you will join the Blackwell family in supporting Jenny through prayer and donations.
